The Township of Roxbury operates under a Council - Manager form of Municipal Government.  The Township Council consists of seven members, three elected at large and four elected as Ward representatives.  The Township Council, at the first regular meeting of the year, elects one of its members to serve as Mayor and another to serve as Deputy Mayor.

Correspondence for the Mayor and Council members may be forwarded to the Township of .

The Township Clerk is the chief custodian of all the general records, books and documents of the Township.

VOTER REGISTRATION

A resident of Roxbury Township may obtain a Voter Registration Application from the Township Clerk's office during regular business hours.  To be eligible to register, you must be a citizen of the United States and

by the date of the next election, at least 18 years old and a resident of New Jersey and your County for at least 30 days.  The registration deadline to vote in the next election is 29 days prior to election day.  Primary Elections are held the first Tuesday, after the first Monday, in June and General Elections are held the first Tuesday, after the first Monday, in November.  For more information, contact the Clerk's office.

Roxbury Township Council Meetings


Roxbury Township Council Meetings are held on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 PM at 1715 Route 46, Ledgewood.  Workshop meetings are open to the public, however, there is no opportunity for public input.  Regular meetings are open to the public with public input.  For a complete list of Council meetings for this month, please see our Calendar page.
